ART EVENTS AT HOME
Laszlo and I decided to create an open space in my home where Art lovers could come together and enjoy Art in its many forms; Visual, Poetry, Music, Theatre. We invited artists to exhibit their work in an accessible domestic setting. Our idea differs from a 'pop up shop' in that we do not take commission. The idea behind it was to allow Art to be enjoyed as much by those who had no plans to purchase the Art as by those who wanted to buy high quality Irish art. Artists who have exhibited included Regine Bartsch,[email protected], Cormac Boydell, Maurice Desmond, Tim Goulding, Rachel Parry, Michael Ray, Jenny Richardson, and Michael Quane, as well as offering Laszlo and Jacinta an opportunity to introduce their work. Poets who read their work included Afric McGlinchy and Paul Casey, with a first outing by Rudra Nua. Andrew Keane and Hernan Catvin presented "Notable" a one man theatre show.
